Greetings.
I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft.

Some time ago, I visited the Nether for the first time in OjiCra.

I explored that frightening world one careful step at a time.

Then, after walking only a few seconds from the Nether portal, I found a fortress.

When I gathered my courage and explored the fortress, I found a blaze spawner on the third floor.

This time, I want to use that blaze spawner to gather experience.

It is not an advanced trap.

Please be gentle with me.

The Blaze Spawner Found in the Nether Fortress

Last time, I fought zombie pigmen and collected experience and gold.

The Nether is full of strong monsters, so it is frightening.

But it also seems to be a good place to gather experience.

A blaze spawner inside the Nether fortress

This time, the opponent is not the zombie pigman.

It is the blaze.

Unlike zombie pigmen, blazes do not all attack as one angry crowd, so they feel a little easier to fight.

They also give more experience than zombies, skeletons, or zombie pigmen.

That makes them rather wonderful opponents.

Wonderful, but still scary.

Fighting Blazes More Safely

There were two blaze spawners fairly close to each other.

This time, I chose the one closer to the Nether portal and turned it into a room for gathering experience.

Preparing glass below the blaze spawner

I placed glass under the blaze spawner.

The netherrack on both sides of the spawner is there because blazes are being held below it.

In this Minecraft PE world, it seemed that only up to four would spawn at a time.

That made the work feel safer.

The blaze spawner setup after preparation

Once the preparation was ready, I removed the netherrack that had been closing the opening.

Operation begins.

A blaze moving inside the glass-floor setup

I made several holes in the glass floor, and placed slabs below the four corners.

With this, blazes that came down could not get out, and I could attack them without being attacked back.

At least, that was the idea.

Adding an iron door to improve the blaze setup

However, they did not come down into the holes very often.

So, to improve the flow, I placed an iron door on the upper floor.

I broke only the second block beside the door.

Then I closed the holes in the glass floor.

Blazes walking toward the door in the Nether fortress

After that, the blazes began walking toward me in a surprisingly orderly way.

Now I could attack them slowly and collect experience.

Sometimes blaze rods fell somewhere out of reach, but in those cases I opened the door and picked them up.

Blaze rods collected from the spawner setup

Experience is very welcome, of course.

But being able to collect blaze rods efficiently is also very nice.

Watching blazes through the setup inside the fortress

Sometimes, if our eyes meet, I still get attacked.

That feels very much like something that would happen to me.

Still, the efficiency is good enough that I quite like this setup.

For now, blazes are the biggest source of enchanting levels for this old man.

That is all for this time.
Greetings.
