I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft.
Of all the things I do in Minecraft, cave exploration may be the one I enjoy most.
Walking through dark spaces where you never know what waits ahead, then suddenly finding diamonds or other ore, feels exactly like the kind of adventure many of us dreamed about once.
So yes, it makes me excited.
This time, I went cave exploring again.
And in the cave I entered, I kept finding monster spawners.
Among them, I found something especially surprising: two monster spawners sitting right next to each other.
Cave Exploration Has a Bit of Romance to It
Last time, I explored a ravine.
It was a very satisfying trip, with diamond, lapis lazuli, redstone, and other valuable ore.
So this time, I went back into a cave, hoping to find more useful ore.
There is a certain romance to it.
I slipped into a hole near the village, and as I went deeper, it opened into an underground ravine.
From there, I explored the connected cave and ran into the strange scene I mentioned above.
Mossy Cobblestone Means a Monster Spawner
As I moved deeper into the cave, I started hearing the groaning voices of zombies, almost as if they were having a little meeting somewhere.
When I checked the area, there it was: mossy cobblestone.
Mossy cobblestone and cobblestone are the sign that a monster spawner room is inside.
I could hear several zombies from within, so it seemed to be a zombie spawner.
When I opened one hole, there were plenty of zombies inside.
Very close zombies.
If I defeat them from this position, I can enter the room safely afterward.
The sight of a monster spawner burning in the dark never stops looking cool.
Very nice.
After confirming the zombies were gone, I entered the spawner room and lit it up.
Room secured.
I was about to calmly check the chest, but then I started hearing the clattering of skeleton bones very close by.
Another Monster Spawner Right Next Door
The skeletons sounded unusually close, so I stepped outside the spawner room once.
Wait.
Is that more mossy cobblestone and cobblestone on the left?
I opened it up, just in case.
Oh.
There was another monster spawner.
I had never seen two monster spawners side by side before.
So this can happen.
This one was a skeleton spawner.
I had found several spawners before, but this was the first skeleton spawner in the OjiCra world.
That means bones can become much easier to collect.
Very good news.
So I secured both a zombie spawner and a skeleton spawner at the same time.
They are close to the village too, so someday I would like to build something trap-like here and use it for experience.
The chests had several enchanted books.
I found books with Feather Falling IV and Infinity, and another with Projectile Protection IV, Fortune II, and Knockback II.
Before I even began a serious ore hunt, I had already found something excellent.
This cave exploration turned out to be very satisfying.
