Greetings.
I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft.
Lately, I have been working hard on village building.
Last time, I brought a villager from another village, so preparations for a better village are moving along steadily.
As the village grows, one thing becomes necessary.
Space.
If I want to build more structures, I need to expand the village grounds.
The area around my base village is a forest, so even simple land clearing requires cutting trees and digging dirt.
That takes time.
So I decided to make the work more efficient by enchanting my tools.
First, I will begin with cutting down the trees.
Cutting Trees Efficiently with an Enchanted Axe
Here is where we left off after moving the villager.

Village building has been progressing bit by bit.

As I continue building, the village needs more and more space.
My village is between a desert and a forest.
The desert side works as the entrance, so if I want to expand, the forest side is the natural direction.
This time, I will clear those trees.
Making a Very Useful Enchanted Axe

Before cutting trees, I prepared the tool.
I made a diamond axe and planned to enchant it into something useful.

When I checked the level-three enchantment, Silk Touch appeared.
This time, I also wanted to collect leaf blocks for village decoration, so Silk Touch sounded perfect.
I went ahead with the enchantment.

Then I combined it with another enchanted diamond axe I already had, using an anvil.
The result was an axe with Silk Touch, Unbreaking II, Sharpness II, and Efficiency III.
I named it Ono-san.
How very suited-man-like, yes?

With that, I began cutting trees.
In the screenshot, I am using an old iron axe, but when I cut with the Efficiency III axe, the speed is wonderful.
I was moved.

The leaf blocks are easy to collect too, thanks to Silk Touch.
Yes.
I made a good axe.
Cutting trees suddenly became fun.

The inventory fills up very quickly.
Wood is something I use often, so stocking up at the same time is very helpful.

And with that, the tree clearing for the expansion area was complete.
Working with a good tool makes the job this enjoyable.
I think I will use enchantments more often from now on.
That is all for this time.
Greetings.
