Greetings.
I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft.

Hello from outside the town’s south gate.
Last time, I took wool and night vision into the ancient city, opened one chest, and came home.
I am still curious about the fragments for music disc “5.”
Today, I head underground again to look inside a few more chests.
Back down the spiral staircase to a Ward template in the first chest

I make my way down the spiral staircase I dug last time.
It is a narrow route between stone walls.
Having a way back is reassuring, though heading down still makes me a little nervous.

Back in the ancient city, I spot a chest on a deepslate brick floor.
This is today’s first treasure chest.
The closer I get, the more I want to know what is waiting under the lid.

From beside the same chest, I look back along the passage I came through.
Stone walls and teal sculk stretch ahead.
It feels nothing like my town above ground—even looking along the street is a little unsettling.

Here I am in front of the first chest.
A large stone wall behind me, and treasure at my feet.
Staring nervously will not open it, so let us take a careful look.

Oh! Diamond horse armor and a pair of diamond leggings!
There is a Ward Armor Trim smithing template, too.
Three potions of Regeneration II and an echo shard make this quite a collection.
The diamond leggings have Curse of Binding, though.
I bring those home without putting them on.
Along the way, I accidentally drink a regeneration potion, thinking it is night vision.
I want to see better, but I have picked the wrong bottle… easy does it, old man. Haha.
Two more treasure chests beyond the main street

I continue along the street beside the large central building’s outer wall.
A long stone wall runs along the left, with sculk-covered buildings on the right.
With a street stretching ahead, it feels like walking through an old town. Even with the nerves, I want to look around.

Standing in the passage gives me a better sense of the scale of this stone city.
It has quite a different feel from my own town.
Still, I should not get too distracted by the scenery. On to the next chest.

Here is the second chest.
Sculk covers the surroundings, so I place white wool beside it as a precaution.
Finding treasure is exciting, but I keep finding reasons to watch my step.

There is a shrieker behind me as I stand at the chest.
Lava is visible beyond the buildings, too.
This does not feel like somewhere to settle down for a rest… let us check the contents.

This one holds sculk, books, and soul torches.
There are five potions of Regeneration II and two sculk catalysts.
A different set of souvenirs from the first chest.
I am starting to think about the empty spaces left in my inventory.

Inside the third chest… three pairs of diamond leggings!
Three here, bringing today’s total to four.
There are books, bones, and coal as well, but none of the three chests contains the disc “5” fragments I am looking for.
By now, night vision has worn off and the surroundings are dark.
My inventory is full, so I make room by clearing out things I no longer need, including empty bottles.
I would like to explore more, but today I will bring these finds home.
Home again with fresh leggings and a Ward template

I climb the spiral staircase and return to the morning forest.
Seeing the sky between the trees is a relief.
I make it back without a fight today.
No disc fragments, but there is plenty in my pack to look forward to.

I fly back to town with my elytra and change into a fresh pair of diamond leggings from the trip.
They are still the same blue armor on the outside, but a new pair feels good.
One souvenir from the ancient city is already getting some use.

I put the finds into the storehouse chest.
Of the four pairs of diamond leggings found today, I wear one and store the other three here.
My old pair goes into the chest as well, so the four pairs shown inside are not all new finds.
I found eight potions of Regeneration II today, drank one, and keep the remaining seven in my inventory.
The six bottles in the storehouse are from the previous trip.
Little by little, this chest is filling with reminders of my adventures.

Back in town, I take a proper look at the Ward Armor Trim smithing template.
The tooltip reads “Ward Armor Trim” and “Smithing Template.”
I enjoy this quiet time in the storehouse, looking again at something found in a treasure chest.
I do not apply any trim today; for now, I keep it safe.

The new leggings have Protection IV, Unbreaking III, and Mending.
It is the same combination as my old pair, but these are brand new.
I keep them separate from the pair with Curse of Binding and use these instead.

Time for a breather beside the storehouse’s white wall and lantern.
I open three ancient city chests and bring home a Ward smithing template and a fresh pair of leggings.
The disc fragments I wanted do not turn up, but this treasure hunt is far from empty-handed.
Next time, I would like to pay a little more attention to my night vision bottles—and the space in my inventory. Haha.
That is all for this time.
Greetings.
