Greetings.
I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft.
After finding a village and making it my base, the world around me suddenly felt much more colorful.
So I started exploring the area near the village.
That was when I found one lonely mossy cobblestone block sitting nearby.
Then I listened closely.
Groans.
Several of them.
According to the words of the heavens, this meant there was probably a monster spawner underneath.
If I could light it up properly, maybe I could use it later for experience.
That was the plan.
Finding a Rare Monster Spawner Near the Village
After settling into the village, I began checking the nearby land little by little.
I had already explored a cave close to the village, and now I wanted to make the surrounding area safer by placing torches as I walked.
Then I noticed a block that looked clearly out of place.
Mossy cobblestone.

If there is mossy cobblestone and zombie voices nearby, that is probably not a coincidence.
The suited man became very serious.
This was a rare block, and it was close to home.
Very convenient.
I Tried to Secure the Spawner Carefully
A monster spawner can keep producing hostile mobs, so it can become useful for experience farming.
It is not something you can simply find whenever you want.
Even if you find one, it may be far away from your base.
So finding one near the village felt very lucky.
I carefully exposed the bottom and sides, trying not to break anything important.

Once the sides were opened up, all that remained was to defeat the zombies inside and light the room.
I broke one block and looked in.
As expected, there were zombies.
I swung my sword, ready to handle the situation like a proper adventurer.
And then.

Something exploded.
Apparently, there had been a creeper hiding in there too.
The zombies were gone, yes.
But the monster spawner was gone as well.
That is too much.
Really, that is too much.
Somehow, the Spawner Block Dropped
For a while, I just stood there with my mouth open.
Then I went down to at least collect what remained.

I had often heard that spawner blocks could not be collected.
But the block that was turned into an item by the creeper explosion could be picked up.
Is this a bug?
I do not know.
Either way, I picked it up.

Even with the block in hand, I could not use spawn eggs in survival, so it was not something I could turn back into a working farm.
At that point, it was more like an extremely rare building material.
Very rare.
Very sad.
The chest in the dungeon was at least useful.
There were records and plenty of string inside.

In the end, I collected the mossy cobblestone too and cleaned up the sad remains of what should have been an exciting monster spawner room.

Everyone, please be careful when you find a monster spawner.
Especially around creepers.
That is all for this time.
Greetings.
