Greetings.
I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft.
The huge mineshaft had given me an enormous amount of loot.
To bring all of those items back to my base village, I needed help.
That was when I thought of a donkey.
Last time, I finally found the donkey I had wanted for so long and managed to bring it back to the village safely.
This time, I want to breed that donkey with a horse and create a mule.
A mule is a hybrid of a horse and donkey.
If it keeps the donkey’s ability to carry a chest while inheriting some of the horse’s speed, then it sounds like a wonderful animal mob.
If that is true, my future travel companion may have already been decided.
Bringing the Rare Donkey Home, Then Breeding It with a Horse
Last time, I finally found a donkey and brought it back to the base.

I put a saddle on it and rode it home, but the donkey’s pace was very slow.
The good thing about a donkey is that it can carry a chest.
The difficult thing is that it is slow.
After asking for a little divine advice, I learned about the mule, a hybrid animal mob made from a horse and a donkey.
It can apparently move quickly like a horse while also carrying a chest like a donkey.
That sounds like the best of both parents.
### Horse Plus Donkey Equals Mule
So, let us try making a mule.
To breed a horse and donkey, I need to give each of them a golden apple or golden carrot.
I had collected some golden apples from treasure chests, so this time I used those.

I paired the fastest horse in the OjiCra world with the donkey I brought home last time.
After giving each of them a golden apple…

A darker-colored baby was born.
Is this child the mule?

By creating a mule, I also unlocked the Artificial Selection achievement.
I wanted the mule to grow quickly, so I gave it apples.
Each time I fed it, it grew a little larger.
Very cute.

Once it had fully grown, I equipped it with a chest.
Yes.
Just like a donkey, it can carry one properly.

It even has its own inventory like this.
That should make it possible to move items from far away.

Then I put a saddle on it and tried riding.
Oh.
It really is fast.

It feels about 80 percent as fast as its horse parent, but that is still plenty fast.
If it can move this quickly while carrying a chest, I have no complaints.

This mule may become my main way to travel from now on.
I am very happy.
That is all for this time.
Greetings.
