Greetings.
I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft.
I needed to move items from far away, so I started looking for a donkey, an animal I had wanted to add to my group for quite some time.
A donkey is a wonderful animal mob because it can carry a chest. I really wanted to find one and bring it back to the village.
Donkeys appear in places where horses spawn, so I searched while remembering the areas where I had seen horses during earlier trips.
But donkeys are surprisingly rare.
I had heard that about one in ten horses might be a donkey, but even after finding more than ten horses, I still did not see one.
Last time, after wandering around, I somehow found a village instead of a donkey.
This time, I widened the search area and tried again.
Searching for the Rare Donkey Where Horses Live
Last time, I found a village before I found a donkey.
That village was not too far from my base village, so I started thinking it might become a second base someday.
But no, no.
The donkey comes first.
So I pulled myself together and went back out to search.

I had already searched the nearby horse areas.
There were plenty of horses, but no donkey.
As expected from a rare animal mob.
There was nothing to do but expand the search area.
### At Last, a Donkey in the Minecraft World
I searched quite far and still could not find one.
While picking up flowers to distract myself, I kept looking around.
And then…

What?
When I returned to a place I had already searched, a donkey was walking there.

I do not know whether I had missed it, or whether it appeared while I was away.
Either way, this was definitely a donkey.
The ears stood up nice and long, and compared with a horse, it moved more slowly.
A very cute donkey.

Finally.
After all that searching, I had finally found a donkey to bring home.
I quickly equipped it with a saddle and headed back toward the village.

The walk was slow, but that is fine.
The real charm of a donkey is that it can carry a chest.

I managed to bring it back to the village safely.
That was a relief.
I do not plan to use this donkey only by riding it as it is.
Next, I would like to breed a horse and this donkey, and welcome a mule into the group.
That is all for this time.
Greetings.
