Greetings.
I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft PE.
The equipment was far too valuable to abandon. I told myself that the loss was not final until I had exhausted every chance of finding the dropped items.
Unfortunately, the only clue was a screenshot taken just before my death. A map was visible in it, but I could no longer remember which of my newly explored regions it showed.
I became lost repeatedly and came close to giving up more than once. Even so, losing the best equipment in OjiCra history was more than I could accept.
Beginning the search for the lost items
It had happened without warning.

I had tried to land in a village and suddenly fallen into darkness.

The photograph suggested that a ravine or deep hole ran through the village. Somewhere at the bottom were my finest equipment, the Elytra, the maps, and the Diamonds I had just found.
### Finding the village after a long and confused search

Because I had forgotten which map contained the village, I compared the terrain in the screenshot with the shapes on my maps.
Without the Elytra, I first traveled by horse, searching east and west.

I created new maps and carried one in each hand. Along the way I even lost the horse, leaving me to continue on foot.
The search became exhausting. I traveled far, found nothing familiar, and repeatedly returned to the village to begin again. I became so tired of it that I stopped entering the Minecraft world for a while.

One day, I recovered my determination and began another careful search. At last, the village appeared.
It was in almost the exact opposite direction from where I had imagined. No wonder I had failed to find it.
In the middle of the village was a ravine. When I looked down, I could see the green sparkle of experience near the bottom.
I quickly poured water into the ravine and descended.

There it was.
After all that searching, I had found the items that were nearly lost forever. The total loss had been avoided.
Once I climbed back to the village, I looked down into the ravine again. It was remarkably deep. A fall from the top certainly explained my death.

The fully equipped suited man had returned.
The search had taken a very long time, but I was glad I had not given up. With the Elytra and maps safely back in my hands, the rare-biome journey could finally continue.
That is all for this time.
Greetings.
