Greetings.
I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
There was one material I had wanted for a long time: bamboo.
Scaffolding looked extremely useful, but the jungle biome I needed to find was proving elusive.
This time, I took to the sky with my elytra.
I found the jungle more quickly than expected, then continued flying and stumbled upon a badlands biome as well.
Flying in search of a jungle biome
The previous expedition took me deep underground to an amethyst geode.
I enjoy dark caves, but this time I wanted an open journey through the sky.

I put on my elytra and prepared to search new lands.

The journey began from the unfinished sky city I had built earlier.

The water elevator carried me smoothly upward.
I would have liked to continue building here, but that would have to wait.
I launched into the air and went looking for a jungle.
### Finding the jungle and collecting long-awaited bamboo
In other worlds, I had sometimes started close to a jungle.
This world had not made the search so easy.

The land around the village was already familiar, so I flew farther away.

I spotted a turtle and landed to say hello.
Then I noticed the dense trees directly ahead.

It really was a jungle.
There was bamboo growing there too, and I quickly collected some.

I did not find a full bamboo jungle, so I harvested the scattered stalks.
While I worked, a panda wandered toward me.

It ate the bamboo.
The panda was far too adorable for me to complain.

I gathered more bamboo and left in a fine mood.
I still wanted to find a bamboo jungle someday, but my immediate goal was complete.
### Continuing the elytra journey and finding badlands
Because the jungle appeared so quickly, I continued flying for a while.

I found a promising village and stopped for a look.

There I met my first camel.

I could ride it, and it was charming.

After leaving the village, something unusual appeared in the distance.

It was a badlands biome.
I had struggled so much to find one in the past, yet this time it simply appeared along the way.

The biome was broad and full of possibilities.

Even the ravine looked worth exploring.

An exposed mineshaft promised another expedition for a future day.

Back in the village, I finally crafted the scaffolding I had wanted.
It was every bit as convenient as I had hoped.
What began as a search for bamboo became a wonderfully eventful elytra journey.
That is all for this time.
Greetings.
