I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft.
Ponder, Feel, Seek, and Sing.
I was happy to complete that set, but there are eight goat horn variants in total.
The remaining four belong to the rare screaming goat.
This time, I am searching the snowy mountains for one and trying to collect all four of its exclusive horn variants.
Finding a naturally spawned screaming goat in the snowy mountains
I headed toward a new snowy mountain and checked its white slopes one by one.
According to official information for Minecraft Java Edition, screaming goats have about a two percent chance of spawning.
I met regular goats many times, but a screaming goat was much harder to find.
After visiting several snowy mountains, I finally found one.
It looked very similar to a regular goat.
However, after waiting nearby, I occasionally heard it make a much louder cry.
This was the only screaming goat I found naturally in the mountains during this episode.
I first brought it into a safe enclosure, then began increasing the group from there.
Breeding more goats from the one found naturally
I built an enclosure in the snowy mountains using snow blocks and glass.
Because goats can jump high, the glass walls extend upward around the pen.
Once two goats were inside, I approached them with wheat.
Before long, a small baby goat was born.
This baby was also a screaming goat in this attempt.
I continued breeding them, and more screaming goats were born in addition to the single goat I had found naturally.
At the end, I counted 11 goats in the enclosure: eight screaming goats and three regular goats.
I am counting the one found naturally separately from the goats that were later born through breeding.
Collecting the four horn variants exclusive to screaming goats
Official information about The Wild Update says there are eight goat horn variants, with four found only on screaming goats.
Those four variants are Admire, Call, Yearn, and Dream.
Inside the enclosure, I prepared a lane where the goats could charge, with a packed ice wall at the end.
When a goat ran toward me, I stepped aside just before it reached me.
This picture was taken after a horn had dropped.
The picture alone does not show which variant it was, but I collected the horns through actual charges during this attempt.
Call came first.
Admire followed, giving me two of the exclusive variants.
Dream appeared later.
That left only Yearn.
Repeated variants kept appearing, but the seventh screaming goat born through breeding dropped Yearn as its first horn.
With that, Admire, Call, Yearn, and Dream were all together.
The type of baby born and the first horn dropped differed during this attempt.
These are the results I observed in this world, rather than a general promise about what will happen every time.
Displaying all eight variants at the mountaintop air cargo station
I brought the four screaming goat variants home and combined them with the four regular goat variants collected in Episode 46.
With all eight complete, I built a display wall at the lookout area of the mountaintop air cargo station.
From west to east, the order is Dream, Admire, Ponder, Sing, Seek, Call, Feel, and Yearn.
One of each horn now hangs on the polished deepslate wall.
I stored six duplicate horns in a barrel at the lookout.
That makes 14 horns in total: eight on display and six in storage.
There were the regular goats I searched for across the snowy mountains.
There was the screaming goat I finally found.
There were the baby goats born afterward.
After dodging charge after charge, every horn I collected now comes together on one wall.
The mountaintop air cargo station now holds one more record of this journey.
