Greetings.
I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft.
Recently, I had been spending a lot of time exploring the Nether.
The Nether was frightening, but it also had resources that could not be found in the normal world.
It made the explorer inside me very restless.
After returning safely to my village base, I decided to spend some time developing the base with the resources I had gathered from caves and the Nether.
This time, the project is not flashy.
But it is important.
I am building a storage room.
A Storage Room Is Essential for a Minecraft Base
After my first visit to the Nether, I came back to the village feeling quite proud.
I had found a Nether fortress near the portal, survived zombie pigmen, explored the fortress, and brought back treasure.
Then I tried to put everything into my chests.
There was a problem.
The chests were already full.
Worse, I had not sorted them properly, so everything was mixed together.
It was becoming very difficult to use.
When you explore in Minecraft, materials keep piling up.
If you ignore storage for too long, future you suffers.
Future me was already suffering.

So I decided to build a proper storage room.
Building a Large Stone Brick Storage Room
This is the storage room I built.
I made it large, thinking about the future.

The main building material is stone brick.
I smelted cobblestone into stone, then crafted that stone into stone bricks.
For the entrance, I used chiseled stone bricks made with stone brick slabs.
It is very much a box-shaped building.
Yes.
A tofu building.
But a useful tofu building.

Inside, I placed large chests along both walls.
I sorted them in a way that felt easy for me to use, and I placed crafting tables in convenient spots so I could work inside the storage room.

For ores and mining resources, I grouped them together.
To make the chests easier to recognize without opening them, I placed representative items in item frames on the front.

An item frame can be crafted with eight sticks and one leather.
That does require leather, but if cows are being bred, the materials should become easier to gather over time.
Now that the storage room is built, the base feels much easier to use.
I am the kind of man who quickly forgets what is inside each chest.
So the item frames are not decoration.
They are assistance for my memory.
That is all for this time.
Greetings.
