Greetings.
I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft.
Lately, I have spent a lot of time exploring caves.
Cave exploration really is fun.
Even as an old man, adventure still stirs the heart a little.
After gathering plenty of ore from those cave trips, I thought it was time to focus on developing the village again.
But before that, there was one thing I wanted for the village lights.
Not torches this time.
I went to the Nether to gather that shiny material: glowstone.
Stocking Up Before Returning to Village Building
Last time, I found four monster spawners in one cave.
Monster spawners, valuable ore, and unexpected discoveries.
Caves are fun because you never know what waits inside.
While enjoying the exploration, I also mined the materials I needed, so my resources were looking much better.
Now, back to village building.
Or so I thought.
Before that, I wanted one more material: glowstone from the Nether.
Going to the Nether for Glowstone

Here it is, the familiar glowstone.
It often forms on the ceiling, so I brought plenty of dirt to use as scaffolding while mining.

This time, I also brought a pickaxe with Silk Touch and Efficiency.
If I mine glowstone with a normal pickaxe, it drops glowstone dust.
With a Silk Touch pickaxe, I can collect it as glowstone blocks.

Now then, I started building up with dirt and mining.
When working on scaffolding in the Nether, it is best to deal with ghasts beforehand.
Falling into lava after getting hit would be no laughing matter.
Well, I have done it before, but still.

Glowstone is not a hard block, so it breaks quickly.
When it is high up, it seems easier to break a group of blocks first and then collect everything afterward.

In a short time, I collected about two and a half stacks.
That ends the glowstone mining trip.
Now I can install some pretty lighting in the village.
That is all for this time.
Greetings.
