Greetings.
I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft.
A furnace is one of the items I use most often at my base.
I cook food with it.
I smelt ores with it.
Sometimes, after exploring caves, I keep several furnaces running for quite a while.
The furnace is absolutely necessary for life in Minecraft.
But adding fuel and materials by hand every time has started to feel rather troublesome.
When something becomes troublesome, perhaps it is time to make it automatic.
So this time, I tried building a simple automatic furnace.
A Furnace Is Essential for a Cave-Loving Suited Man
I like cave exploration.
When I go into caves, I do not know what I will find.
That makes the boyish part of this suited man very excited.
Exploration is romance.

Every time I come back from a cave, I bring a lot of ore.
Then I need furnaces to smelt all of it.
Little by little, the number of furnaces at the base has increased.
But refilling fuel and materials by hand is, honestly, a bother.
### Making the Furnace Automatic Was Very Convenient
So I finally stood up and started making an automatic furnace.
The structure itself is quite simple.
First, I placed two furnaces side by side.
Then I attached hoppers from the top and the back of each furnace.

Next, I placed large chests above the hoppers.

The upper large chest is for the items I want to smelt.
The lower large chest is for fuel.

With this, the materials and fuel go from the chests into the furnaces automatically.
But if the finished items stay inside the furnaces, the system will eventually stop.
So I also placed hoppers under the furnaces and pointed them toward another large chest.

Now the finished items collect in the bottom large chest.

If I put in plenty of fuel and throw the materials into the chest after returning from exploration, the furnace keeps working while I do other things nearby.
When I notice it again, quite a bit has already been smelted.
This is convenient.
Very convenient.

After making it, I also unlocked the achievement for smelting everything.
Yes.
From now on, I will smelt many things.

That is all for this time.
Greetings.
