I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft.
After defeating the Ender Dragon, I began exploring the End. I traveled through an End gateway and crossed between the outer islands by building bridges.
It did not take long to find an End city. Even better, an End ship was floating beside it. This time, I am finally entering an End city for the first time.
A strange city in the End
In the previous episode, I found the End city and End ship.
Exploring a new place is exciting, but one careless step here could send me into the void with all my items. I moved carefully.
There I was, a suspicious man wearing a pumpkin. I was still afraid of the Endermen, but at least I had reached the city safely.
Inside the End city
Up close, the building was much larger than it had looked from a distance.
As I walked in while looking upward, I heard an unfamiliar sound. Something near the entrance was firing missile-like projectiles at me. This was my first Shulker.
The projectiles followed me, and being hit made my body float. Since falling from the city would be dangerous, I tried to catch myself against the walls before rising too far.
I defeated the Shulkers with my Looting III sword, hoping to collect as many shells as possible.
Shulker Shells are the important ingredient for Shulker Boxes. I had heard how useful those boxes were, so every shell felt valuable.
What I found in the city
The shells were the main prize, but the city itself also contained unusual building materials: End Stone Bricks, Purpur blocks, and magenta stained glass.
I also found End Rods used as lights. They looked simple and stylish enough to use in future buildings. Banners decorated the outside as well.
There were more rooms than I expected, and Shulkers were hiding in awkward places. Floating toward the empty black sky would be a terrible way to end this trip.
One room held treasure chests, with an Ender Chest beside them. I put the things I especially did not want to lose into the Ender Chest.
After climbing high enough, I reached almost the same height as the End ship. The next step was crossing over to the ship and finding the rare item waiting inside.
