Greetings.
I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft PE.
Last time, I finally found an Ice Plains biome.
A white world of snow, an Igloo, and a Polar Bear. I was already excited enough, but the cold journey was not finished yet.
This time, I found Ice Spikes nearby.
Packed Ice everywhere. Packed Ice as far as the eye could see.
Hooray.
Finding Ice Spikes near the Ice Plains
After walking around the Ice Plains for a while, I decided to search nearby with the Elytra. If one cold biome was here, perhaps another interesting place might be close as well.
And then, almost immediately…

There they were.
Ice Spikes!
After struggling for so long to find any rare-looking biome at all, suddenly the world was showing me one icy surprise after another. My luck had clearly turned around.
### A beautiful world of packed ice
The Ice Spikes area looked completely different from the ordinary biomes around it.

It was simply beautiful.
Last time I had been running around happily in the snow. This time, the scenery felt quieter and almost mysterious.

Countless spikes of ice stood across the landscape. Some of them looked like tall towers.
I tried breaking one with a Silk Touch pickaxe, and Packed Ice dropped from it.
Packed Ice does not melt like ordinary Ice, so I had wanted to try using it in builds someday. Finding so much of it in one place felt wonderful.

There was plenty of it, too.
Beautiful scenery and useful blocks at the same time. What a fine biome.
The place also had a calm feeling to it. If my heart ever becomes restless, maybe I should come back here for a walk.

And because this is Minecraft, the Ice Spikes sat right beside ordinary grassland. There was even lava nearby.
Snow, grass, packed ice, and lava all together. A strange sight, but a very Minecraft one.
That is all for this time.
Greetings.
