Greetings.
I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft PE.
I had begun filling maps in search of rare biomes.
A Mesa, Ice Plains, or Mushroom Island would all be wonderful discoveries. I planned to fly across the land with my Elytra and fill in the empty maps one strip at a time.
Of course, these places were called rare biomes for a reason. I suspected that none of them would appear immediately.
The maps are ready, so the journey can begin
Last time, I created four new maps around the map containing my village.

The preparation was complete. All that remained was to fly over each area and reveal the terrain.
I had already taken many walks through the sky with the Elytra, but even then I had never come across the biomes I wanted. Perhaps this larger mapping journey would finally change that.
### Setting out to fill the maps

I left the village in high spirits, wondering whether an unfamiliar continent might be waiting beyond the land I already knew.

Once I crossed beyond the map containing my village, the new map began to fill. I flew back and forth in long rows, gradually revealing the blank area.

I completed the first map, but there was no rare biome on it.
Well, finding something rare on the first attempt would probably have been too convenient.

I continued with a second map, then a third. Villages and temples appeared often enough, but there was still no Mesa, Ice Plains, or Mushroom Island.
I even stopped at a Jungle Temple for a change of pace, though it did little to satisfy my desire for a truly new landscape.

After filling all four maps, I still had not found a Mesa.
The result was disappointing, but the world was much larger than these maps. I would keep exploring until one of those rare biomes finally appeared.
That is all for this time.
Greetings.
