Greetings.
I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

Nearly a year had passed since the previous update.
Thank you to everyone who checked in on me during the silence. This suited man was doing well.

Last time, I worked desperately to finish an automatic sorting warehouse.
Now I wanted to make it even more useful by connecting an automatic furnace.

An automatic furnace would make the sorting warehouse even more convenient

The warehouse from the previous episode had taken a great deal of work.
I first built an iron golem farm for the materials, then filled the warehouse with sorting modules.

Items arranged inside the automatic sorting warehouse

Once complete, however, it was every bit as convenient as I had hoped.
I only had to place items in one chest for the system to sort them.

Returning from a cave expedition with mined materials

It made my favorite cave expeditions easier as well.
After exploring, I could simply send everything into the sorter.

### Sending smelted ingots directly into the sorter

Ore still required an extra step.
I wanted to smelt it into ingots before it entered storage.

Moving ore into a furnace, collecting the ingots, and then carrying them to the sorter each time was tedious.
Connecting an automatic furnace to the warehouse seemed like the obvious answer.

Building an automatic furnace beside the warehouse

I installed the furnace beside the sorting mechanism.
Its output would travel directly to the input chest for the warehouse.

A vertical item transport line linking the furnace and sorter

Moving the items upward was the awkward part.

The completed automatic furnace feeding the sorting system

Once connected, I could place ore into the furnace chest.
The machine smelted it, carried the ingots to the sorter, and stored them in their assigned chests.

After covering the mechanism below ground, the area looked reasonably tidy.
The warehouse had become even more useful.

### Building an automatic cobblestone generator

Cobblestone was another material I constantly needed for building, so I also made an automatic cobblestone generator.

A compact cobblestone generator built in the village

I chose a compact design that would fit neatly into the base.

Lava visible inside the cobblestone generator

Having exposed lava in the village made me a little nervous.

The finished cobblestone generator beside the village path

Still, the village was becoming more convenient with every project.

Minecraft had changed in many ways while I was away.
Next time, I planned to head into a cave again after a long absence.

That is all for this time.
Greetings.
