Greetings.
I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft.
Last time, I recovered from total loss with librarian trades and enchantments.
After the day I lost everything in the Nether, I built an XP farm, received help from the librarians, and rebuilt my gear.
This time, I am going back to the Nether.
The goal is a Nether Fortress.
And Blaze Rods.
Preparing to Return to the Nether
This time, I prepared properly.

Enchanted diamond gear.
A diamond sword.
A pickaxe.
Fire Resistance potions.
Cooked porkchops.
A golden apple.
And cobblestone.
After losing everything in the Nether once, even looking at my inventory makes me more careful.
At least, I intend to be careful.
I entered the red world and kept moving.
Then, at last, I saw it.

A Nether Fortress.
Black Nether brick paths.
A huge lavafall.
And beyond it, a Blaze spawner platform.
There are Blazes nearby, too.
Ah.
This is frightening.
But I came here for Blaze Rods.
So I have to go.
Building a Cobblestone Bridge to the Spawner
The spawner platform was not connected in a way I could simply walk across.
There was a gap.
Under it was the deep Nether.
If I fall, that is probably the end.
So I used the cobblestone I brought with me.

A one-block-wide cobblestone bridge.
Narrow.
Very narrow.
But without this bridge, I cannot move forward.
I crossed it one step at a time, remembering the total loss from before.
Just building a bridge in a fortress is bad for the heart.
At the end of the bridge, there was the Blaze spawner.

Inside the cage, a tiny Blaze-like shape spins around.
This is where Blazes appear.
That means it is an important place for collecting Blaze Rods.
It also means it is a very dangerous place.
Blazes and Other Dangerous Fortress Mobs
As soon as I got close, a Blaze appeared.

It shoots fireballs.
Getting close is scary.
Staying far away is also scary.
The Nether Fortress welcomes visitors rather intensely.
And then this happened.

I am burning.
The suited man is burning.
My health has dropped a lot, too.
Even in full diamond gear, being on fire is terrifying.
I brought Fire Resistance potions, but I hoped to get through this before drinking one.
Then I was burned anyway.
Yes, this is scary.
Blazes would be enough by themselves, but the fortress has other residents.

A Wither Skeleton.
Black.
Tall.
Holding a stone sword.
Just looking at it makes me want to keep my distance.
I have heard its skull is valuable, but first I need to get home alive.
Then I met this one as well.

A Magma Cube.
Red, bouncy, and very fitting for a world of lava.
I want to call it cute, but this is the Nether.
If I get careless, it jumps at me.
The fortress is busy.
Very busy.
Nether Wart and a Fortress Chest
The place is dangerous, but a Nether Fortress also has important materials.
First, I found this.

Nether Wart.
It was growing inside a small room in the fortress.
It looks a little like a red crop, but it is important for brewing potions.
After the total loss in the Nether, I learned this lesson.
Preparation matters.
I want to bring this home.
There was also a chest inside the fortress.

Oh.
Diamond horse armor.
Gold ingots.
A golden sword.
It is not a dramatic treasure pile, but it feels like a reward found deep inside the Nether.
I am grateful.
Dangerous places seem to contain useful things.
That is exactly why I keep going deeper.
Dangerous, really.
And then, the item I wanted most.

Blaze Rods.
I got them.
This makes me happy.
The suited man who lost everything in the Nether is now standing here with Blaze Rods in hand.
Maybe I have grown a little.
…But if I get carried away here, this is exactly where OjiCra loses everything again.
The Nether expedition is not over until I get home.
Looking from a little farther away, this is what the fortress looked like.

Black Nether brick.
The cobblestone bridge I built.
The spawner platform.
Behind me, flames and a huge lavafall.
Seeing it like this, I am surprised I crossed that bridge.
Looking back calmly, I did something rather frightening.
Bringing the Materials Back to the Village
I made it back to the return portal.

I never thought a purple portal would look this reassuring.
Last time, I returned to the village empty-handed.
This time, I am bringing materials home.
That alone feels like a victory.
Back at the village, I went to the warehouse.
The Nether materials go into this chest.

Blaze Rods.
Nether Wart.
Magma Cream.
Ghast Tears.
Gold Ingots.
Materials from the Nether are now stored properly in the village warehouse.
I am happy.
From total loss to this.
I saw the Nether, sank into lava, built an XP farm, received help from librarians, rebuilt my gear, and now brought materials home from a Nether Fortress.
That was a long road.
The suited man is slowly coming back.
Next, perhaps I will explore even deeper into the Nether.
I have heard there is a place called a Bastion Remnant.
It is certainly dangerous.
But I am curious.
That is all for this time.
Greetings.
