Greetings.
I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft.

Last time, I found a Heavy Core inside an Ominous Vault.

I also have the Breeze Rods I brought home in Episode 29.

Which means…

I can finally craft a Mace!

Crafting a Mace with a Heavy Core and Breeze Rod

First, I check the materials in the village storage room.

Checking the Heavy Core and Breeze Rods in the village storage chest

A Heavy Core.

A Breeze Rod.

I had to go through quite a lot in the Trial Chamber to obtain both of them.

Now I combine the two and craft the Mace I have been waiting for.

It is finished!

Even just holding it, the Mace looks heavy.

It feels like a solid, weighty weapon, completely different from a sword or axe.

I also take a proper look at it in my inventory.

Checking the completed Mace in the inventory

It took battles with Breezes, an Ominous Trial, and an opened Vault to get here.

I was already happy when I had both materials, but seeing them become an actual Mace feels even better.

Time to try it out.

Trying the Smash Attack from a Low Platform

The Mace is known for its smash attack, striking while falling through the air.

Jumping from somewhere high right away sounds frightening, so I start with a lower platform.

Preparing to test the Mace smash attack from a low platform

There is an enemy below.

I hold the Mace and move to the edge of the platform.

Falling is nothing unusual in Minecraft, but this time I need to land the hit at the bottom.

I watch my timing and jump.

Falling toward an enemy with the Mace ready

Aiming while falling is more frightening than I expected.

The ground is getting closer, but I still need to keep track of the enemy.

Will I hit it…?

Dust spreading across the ground as the Mace smash attack connects

I did it!

The strike lands with a heavy thud at the same moment I reach the ground.

Dust spreads around me, and the impact feels completely different from an ordinary attack.

That was satisfying.

But it also taught me something immediately.

The Mace is frightening when the attack does not connect.

Using the Mace in an Ordinary Fight

I also try swinging the Mace at an enemy nearby instead of using a falling attack.

Facing an enemy with the Mace ready on the grass

The swing feels heavy, but each hit has real presence.

Rather than making quick cuts like a sword, it feels like a weapon for committing to one solid blow.

Once I get used to it, the Mace could become very dependable.

Still, the falling attack is what I really want to test.

I managed to land it from a low platform, so now I will try from somewhere higher.

A Higher Fall Makes a Much Bigger Impact

This time, I climb onto a taller platform.

Aiming a Mace smash attack from a higher platform

Looking down from here is rather frightening.

Even in full Netherite armor, the tension before a fall does not disappear.

I line up the target and take the leap.

A powerful impact bursting out as the high Mace smash attack lands

That was incredible.

The strike lands with even more weight and spectacle than the one from the lower platform.

When a Mace smash attack connects, it is extremely satisfying.

The danger is that one success makes me want to get carried away.

Missing the Attack Is Immediately Dangerous

I try jumping in the same way once more.

But this time…

The suited man badly hurt after missing a falling Mace attack

I missed.

That was frightening.

I jumped expecting to land the blow, but it did not connect, and the fall took away a large part of my health.

The Mace feels tremendously powerful when it works.

But missing is just as dangerous.

This is not a weapon I can swing around carelessly.

The height, the enemy’s position, and the place where I will land…

I need to consider all of them before jumping, or I will be the one in trouble.

Returning to the Village with the Mace

After testing it a few times, I return to the village.

The Mace is complete.

I tried its smash attack too.

When it connects, it feels incredible.

When it misses, the danger comes all at once.

It is a simple idea, but a difficult weapon to use well.

Now that I have it, where should I go next?

One place keeps coming to mind.

The Ancient City.

And the Warden.

Will this Mace give me just a little more courage to face them…?

That is all for this time.
Greetings.
