Greetings.
I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft.

Last time, I faced a raid in the castle town and obtained a Totem of Undying from an Evoker.

This time, I am rebuilding the cobblestone lookout that I used during that battle as a proper watchtower for the castle town.

I want to give it a guardroom and a watchpost, creating a place that can keep watch over the town by day and night.

Rebuilding the temporary lookout as a watchtower

The lookout I hurriedly built during the raid was only a temporary structure made from stacked cobblestone.

The temporary cobblestone lookout before it was rebuilt

It served its purpose, but it looked a little too makeshift among the castle town buildings.

I rebuilt it in the same location, using stone bricks and deepslate tiles.

Comparing it from the same eastern angle makes the new shape clear, from its foundation to the roof.

The exterior used 62 stone bricks and 29 deepslate tiles.

Hauling materials and furnishing the guardroom

I made several trips through the castle town to carry the stone and wood needed for the build.

I also smelted stone in a furnace so I could make the stone bricks.

At the bottom of the tower, I created a small guardroom where the town guards could wait.

Inside, I placed an armor stand wearing gold armor, along with white banners and torches to give the room the feel of a guard post.

One chest holds arrows and iron, while the other contains bread and a golden apple.

The equipment and food needed for an emergency are now ready inside the tower.

The stairs lead up to a watchpost overlooking the castle town.

Through the arrow slits on the north and east sides, I could see the town buildings and villagers walking below.

From outside, the stone-brick walls and deepslate-tile coping fit naturally into the castle town scenery.

At night, light from the guardroom and watchpost becomes visible through the tower windows.

With a torch in hand at the watchpost, I can look over the darkened town from above.

The temporary lookout has now become a watchtower with both a guardroom and a watchpost.

To finish, I stood in front of the new tower holding the Totem of Undying that I obtained in Episode 51.

The last raid did not end in victory, but the castle town now has a more reassuring place to prepare for the next battle.

That is all for this time.
Greetings.
