Greetings.
I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft.
While enjoying cave exploration, I discovered a mineshaft.
It was the first mineshaft in OjiCra, and one I had wanted to find for a long time.
I prepared properly before entering, but my hopes were so large that I decided to stay in the mineshaft for a while and explore it carefully.
Living inside a mineshaft sounds a little romantic, like an old miner in a story.
In reality, the ones I meet there are not friendly adventurers.
They are zombies and spiders.
It is a dark and frightening place.
Still, as I explored, I found one of the special treasures of mineshafts: a minecart chest.
By the end, I had found 35 of them.
A Mineshaft Is Scary, But Fun
This is the mineshaft I found while exploring caves.

I entered with great excitement, but the place was so large that I decided it would be impossible to explore it all in one trip.
So I made up my mind to stay inside the mineshaft for a while and search it from corner to corner.
My first mineshaft.
There is fear, because I do not know what will appear.
But that same unknown feeling makes it exciting.
Searching for Minecart Chests
There are several things in mineshafts that ordinary caves do not have.
First, I went looking for minecart chests.

I found one almost immediately.
If you look closely, there is another one on the left side of the image.
Since the mineshaft itself is so large, I thought there might be quite a few if I searched carefully.

This mineshaft had levels above and below the main floor, but most of the minecart chests were on the main level.
After searching every corner, I found 35 minecart chests in total.
Treasure everywhere.
Very nice.

Some chests contained treasures such as diamonds.
Since this is a mineshaft, there were also many rails, powered rails, and detector rails.
That is one of the reasons finding a mineshaft made me so happy.
This suited man is pleased.

Sometimes Minecart Chests Are Stuck in Strange Places
Minecart chests are not always placed neatly on rails in the middle of the passage.
Depending on how the mineshaft generated, some were hidden in gaps between levels, like this.

I also saw mysterious black plates attached to walls several times.
Those were minecart chests too.

When I broke the blocks around one, a proper minecart chest appeared.

It seems that when a minecart chest gets buried in blocks, it can appear black.
If I see a black plate like that, it is worth checking.

So, in this mineshaft, I found 35 minecart chests.
The contents are random, so it depends on luck, but getting rails from a mineshaft is also very helpful.
Making them normally takes quite a bit of material.
In Season 3, I also explored a mineshaft again, facing minecart chests, cave spiders, and diamonds underground.
That later story is here: Exploring a Mineshaft, Minecart Chests, Cave Spiders, and Diamonds|OjiCra Season 3 #19.
That is all for this time.
Greetings.
