Greetings.
I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft.
During OjiCra Season 3, I rebuilt my equipment after losing everything and headed into the Nether once again.
There, I found a huge Nether Fortress made of Nether Bricks.
Bridges and corridors.
A Blaze spawner.
Nether Wart.
And chests waiting around the corners.
It was a place full of exciting discoveries, but it was just as full of frightening dangers.
This memo organizes what we found and what made us cautious while exploring the Nether Fortress in OjiCra Season 3 Episode 25.
The article is based on our experience in Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.11, together with official information and Minecraft Wiki pages checked on July 12, 2026.
What We Found in This Nether Fortress
First, here is a summary of what we actually confirmed:
- Nether Brick bridges, corridors, stairs, and small rooms
- Blazes and a Blaze spawner
- Blaze Rods
- Wither Skeletons
- Magma Cubes
- Nether Wart growing on Soul Sand
- Diamond Horse Armor, Gold Ingots, and a Golden Sword in a chest
The structure and chest contents vary from one fortress to another.
From here, I will go through our discoveries in the order we found them.
A Dark Structure of Bridges and Corridors
In the distance, we saw an enormous lavafall beside a dark Nether Brick structure.
A Nether Fortress combines open bridges with enclosed corridors and small rooms.
Minecraft Wiki also describes it as a large structure made up of bridges, corridors, and towers.
As I walked through it, the same Nether Bricks continued in every direction.
Had I turned a corner, or had I come back the way I started?
It gradually became difficult for this old man to tell. (laughs)
There was no direct path to the platform with the Blaze spawner we had found, so I built a narrow bridge from the Cobblestone I had brought with me.
Below me was a dark open space, with lava nearby.
If I fell from that bridge, I did not feel as though I would make it home.
The enemies were not the only danger in the fortress. I also had to watch every step.
Inside, long straight corridors of Nether Bricks continued ahead.
I placed torches as I went so I could recognize the way back. Here, the torches were mainly route markers rather than a guarantee of complete safety.
Losing the return path would be a serious problem on its own.
Blazes and the Blaze Spawner
The Blaze spawner was one of the main things I wanted to find in the fortress.
A small Blaze rotated inside the dark cage.
At first I was happy, because finding it meant I could finally obtain Blaze Rods.
But a spawner also meant that Blazes would keep appearing.
Blazes float in the air and shoot fireballs. Once I caught fire, my health kept falling.
This fight pushed me into a very dangerous situation.
Blaze Rods dropped by Blazes are important materials that lead to Brewing Stands and Blaze Powder.
In Episode 25, I did not use an automatic farm. I fought the Blazes one at a time in front of the spawner.
Holding the rod in my hand finally made the result feel real.
After all that fear, one rod felt especially rewarding.
Food, a bow, a shield, and nonflammable blocks for footholds all helped during the Blaze fights.
A Fire Resistance potion can help against flames, but it does not protect against every close-range attack or a fall. Instead of rushing straight toward the spawner, I felt calmer using walls and pillars as cover and dealing with one Blaze at a time.
Wither Skeletons and Magma Cubes Were Frightening Too
We also encountered a dark Wither Skeleton in the fortress corridors.
It was taller than an ordinary Skeleton and carried a stone sword.
It was frightening when it came close, and its attacks hurt badly.
An attack can inflict the Wither effect, turning the hearts dark while health continues to decrease.
I wanted to keep enough food and room to recover and avoid letting it close the distance in a narrow corridor.
When I focused only on the Blazes, one could approach from the side. My health fell very low.
There were Magma Cubes as well.
Squash.
Boing.
Their movement looked a little cute, but it was a different matter when they bounced toward me.
Blazes, Wither Skeletons, and Magma Cubes could all appear during the same exploration. I needed enough composure to look around instead of concentrating on only one enemy.
Nether Wart Was Growing in a Small Soul Sand Room
While walking through the corridors, I found red plants in an enclosed room with stairs.
It was Nether Wart.
In this fortress, it was growing on Soul Sand inside the structure rather than in an exposed outdoor area.
Nether Wart is a material used when beginning potion brewing.
After bringing it home in Episode 25, I used the village brewing room to make a Potion of Night Vision in Episode 26.
A material found during one adventure became preparation for the next.
I like that kind of connection in Minecraft.
What We Found in the Chest
We also found a chest around a corner in the fortress.
The chest we actually opened contained:
- Diamond Horse Armor
- Gold Ingots
- A Golden Sword
Chest contents are not always the same.
Minecraft Wiki lists items such as Gold Ingots, Horse Armor, Nether Wart, Iron Ingots, Diamonds, and Obsidian among the possible loot.
However, the three items visible in the screenshot are the only ones I can say we found in this chest.
There were no horses in the Nether, but the armor might become useful after returning to the village.
For now, I took it home.
Things to Watch Out for in a Nether Fortress
These were the dangers that stood out most during our exploration:
- Falling into lava or a deep open space
- Catching fire from Blaze fireballs
- Enemies approaching from dark corridors
- Letting a Wither Skeleton get too close
- Losing the return route among similar Nether Brick corridors
- Having too little hunger left to recover during combat
Even with prepared equipment, my health could fall quickly if I became careless.
Nonflammable building blocks such as Cobblestone, food, torches, and a ranged weapon made me feel a little better prepared.
If I had to narrow the supplies down, I would prioritize these five:
1. Enough food
2. A bow and arrows
3. A shield
4. Nonflammable blocks such as Cobblestone
5. Torches for marking the return route
Even then, the fortress was never completely safe.
For me, the trip was not over until I made it home.
Only after carrying the Blaze Rods and Nether Wart back to the village warehouse could I finally relax.
The Nether Fortress was frightening, but it was also where I found materials that opened the way to brewing and future adventures.
