Greetings.
I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft.
Last time, I showed you the castle town I had been arranging between adventures.
This time, I welcome a Copper Chest and a Copper Golem into its warehouse.
The building looks like a warehouse already, but I still have to put every item away myself.
Perhaps a small worker can make it truly come alive.
Mining copper for a small warehouse worker

From outside, the white walls and dark roof already fit the castle town.
Inside, storage chests line the room for all the materials I bring home.

There is nobody to carry the items, though.
So I decide to try making a Copper Golem to work here.

Copper is what I need, so I take my pickaxe and leave town.

Underground, green and orange ore appears in the rock.
It is copper ore!

I keep mining the copper I find and bring it home carefully.

The result is 120 raw copper.
That looks like enough for both the Copper Chest and the Copper Golem.

Back at the warehouse, I smelt the raw copper in a furnace.

From the finished copper ingots, I first make a Copper Chest for the items to enter.
I also line up copper blocks inside, like a small reception desk.

Next, I use copper blocks and a pumpkin to make a Copper Golem.
There it is!
Its little body moves around the warehouse in a very charming way.
Letting the Copper Golem sort the items

I put items into the Copper Chest and watch where the Copper Golem takes them.
This photograph shows copper ingots, torches, and cobblestone; on the first try, I used iron ingots, bread, and cobblestone.

After a short wait, it approaches the Copper Chest, takes an item, and starts walking through the warehouse.
It is really working!

Inside one destination chest, I find 16 iron ingots.
For a moment, I think I can leave every bit of sorting to my new helper.
But then the Copper Golem stops while holding bread.
The bread does not move, and the cobblestone sorting stops as well.
It seems not to find a chest for what it is carrying.
One empty chest gets the warehouse moving again

If it needs somewhere to put the item, perhaps I should give it one.
I add one empty chest, and the stopped Copper Golem begins moving again.
The 16 bread go neatly into the new chest.
It does not sort everything perfectly on its own.
Still, when I prepare a destination, this small worker gets right back to work.

With the Copper Chest, the copper reception desk, and the Copper Golem walking about, the warehouse has become a place that feels alive.

When I think about improving a town, I tend to think only of big buildings and roads.
But even one warehouse beginning to move makes castle-town life more enjoyable.
Next, I would like to improve the farms and homes too, and make the town more comfortable for the villagers.
That is all for this time.
Greetings.
