Greetings.
I am a man in a suit who has fallen into the world of Minecraft.
Last time, I welcomed a Copper Golem into the castle-town warehouse.
Now that the warehouse has begun to move, I want to improve daily life for the villagers.
A farm for food and lodging for the night both feel essential as this town grows.
A farm that belongs in the castle town

From above, the wheat field makes the town feel much livelier.
Stone-brick borders, paths, and lights make it easy to walk around.

At the edge of the field, I place a composter as a place for a farmer villager to work.
Soon, a villager in a straw hat comes to the farm.

Seeing a villager standing in a field I made makes it feel as if town life is beginning to move.
I also try a way to make the harvest easier to collect.
Collecting wheat with flowing water

I make a channel through the farm for water.
When I press the button, water flows out and carries the harvested wheat and seeds toward the collection point.

I worry that something might catch along the way, but the harvest flows neatly through the stone-brick channel.
I try the water collection three times, and each time it reaches the chest.

This is the storage chest after a harvest.
It is not completely hands-off, but gathering the farm’s produce with one button already feels much easier.
Lodging where villagers can spend the night

With the farm in place, I begin the lodging next.
I use stone brick, polished diorite, and deepslate tiles so it will not look out of place in the town.

White walls and a dark roof match the other buildings.
Flowers sit near the windows, and lanterns hang at the entrance.

Inside, I line up beds and add light so it will not become dark at night.
It is not a large building, but it looks comfortable enough for the villagers to rest.

When night comes, villagers enter the lodging.
I had wondered whether they would use it, so seeing them by the beds is a real relief.

The farmer works in the field, and villagers rest in the lodging at night.
The town is not large yet, but its foundation is slowly taking shape.

A water-flow farm for wheat and bright lodging for the villagers are now side by side.
I look forward to watching the life this place creates.
That is all for this time.
Greetings.
